Single fired porcelain with red iron oxide.

This series of sculptural porcelain bottles emerged after a darker period of creative exploration. These bottle beings are the products of lighter, more playful times. Each is meticulously hand decorated using red iron oxide and slips. Some are deliberately wonky, shaped by the kiss of unexpected weather — all are light, joyful and unique.
